The Major Energy Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN) reveals that its members have collected a total 251.8 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from September 16 and November 24, 2024.
Major Energy Marketers Association of Nigeria, Chief Executive Office, Clement Isong, revealed this at a quarterly webinar organized by the association for journalists.
He said the total volumes of fuel collected was 148 million litres loaded by trucks at the gantry and 103 million litres delivered to the Apapa depots through vessels.
He further noted that the members of the association are still purchasing fuel for Dangote Refinery.
Represented by the Head of Economic Intelligence Research Regulation, Ogechi Nkwoji, explained how the MEMAN members chose to import petrol from Dangote Refinery due to the competitive environment even when they have the license to import petrol.
