Nollywood star Wumi Toriola’s film debut, Queen Lateefah, has shattered seven records at the cinema.
Taking to Instagram, Toriola shared the impressive achievements of her movie, which include: highest non-holiday season opening weekend, highest-grossing September release, seventh-highest grossing film of all time, and highest-grossing Nollywood release outside festive periods, among others.
Wumi Toriola celebrated her achievements with her fans, thanking them for their massive turnout that propelled her movie to market success.
She praised their loyalty, love, and dedication, which enabled Queen Lateefah to shatter records and rake in over three hundred and sixty million at the box office.
She wrote, “Thank you to all the incredible Nigerians and Laterfanzz who made “Queen Lateefah” a massive success during its cinema run.
