Popular BBNaija star Tacha has revealed the motivations behind her decision to permanently relocate from Nigeria to the UK.<\/p>\n

The reality TV star recently appeared as a guest on the latest episode of Madame Joyce’s podcast where she confirmed that she had moved to the UK.<\/p>\n

She explained,\u00a0“With me being in the UK I am representing Nigeria, I’ve already conquered the whole of the Nigerian market. Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean that I won’t take Naija deals. If the money is good ,fine, why not?”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/section>\n
Tacha shared her experiences with the difficulties of working in Nigeria, citing an instance where she was underpaid for an influencing job, a situation she claims is all too common in the country.<\/p>\n

She also spoke about her aspirations in the UK.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

“With the influencing scene in Naija, it looks so beautiful but behind the scenes it’s not as beautiful because the money is shit. Imagine\u00a0someone wanting\u00a0to pay you six million which is About 3 thousand dollars for six months, and they want you to influence and post two videos a month. These videos need to be created o!”<\/i>\u00a0Tacha explained.<\/p>\n

Tacha voiced her discontent with Nigeria’s economic situation, revealing that despite the apparent boom of the influencer market, the actual pay often fails to meet expectations.<\/p>\n

“After I left the BBNaija in 2019 and I started getting gigs and the money was the same as what I just mentioned and it made sense then, at least we could book a plane ticket with it. But right now, 3k dollars is nothing,”<\/i>\u00a0she explained.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
She noted, “Everyone in Nigeria is going through the hard economic times in Nigeria right now. The brands, companies and even the people, so unless you’re doing some underhand businesses you won’t have money in excess.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/section>\n
