separation.<\/p>\n<p>She completed her high school education at Mukula Integrated School and has a qualification in Public Relations while also studying drama.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>CAREER<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the age of 13, Makhadzi started her career by performing at taxi ranks, where she received donations from the audience.<\/p>\n<p>After dancing with the group Makhirikhiri, she shifted her focus to music, independently releasing albums such as Muvhango in 2009 and Rita Dee in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, she signed with Rita Dee Entertainment, which led to the release of Muhwalo Uya Ndemela.<\/p>\n<p>She later rose to prominence with popular tracks like \u201cTshanda Vhuya\u201d and \u201cMatorokisi,\u201d earning accolades such as Best Female Artist and Tshivenda Best at the Fame South African Music Awards.<\/p>\n<p>After transitioning to Open Mic Productions, she released the highly successful album Kokovha in 2020, which became the most streamed album on Apple Music and received a gold plaque certification.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, Makhadzi released the single \u201cMjolo,\u201d featuring Mlindo the Vocalist, which peaked at number 28 on the South African iTunes charts.<\/p>\n<p>Another hit, \u201cGhanama,\u201d featuring Prince Benza and King Monada, achieved platinum status in July.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2021, she announced her album \u201cAfrican Queen,\u201d releasing singles like \u201cTchukutsha\u201d with Lady Du and a collaboration with Kabza De Small titled \u201cSalungano.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The album, which includes contributions from artists like Cassper Nyovest and Kabza De Small, was released in September.<\/p>\n<p>Makhadzi received a nomination for Best Female Artist in South Africa at the All Africa Music Awards for this album.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2022, her EP \u201cPain Ya Jealous\u201d reached Gold status in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>She is currently working on her next studio album, \u201cAfrican Queen 2.0,\u201d which is set to be released on November 18, 2022, and will feature collaborations with artists such as Blaq Diamond and Big Zulu, already gaining traction in Botswana.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2023, Makhadzi left Open Mic Production to establish her own record label, Makhadzi Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>She then launched her sixth studio album, \u201cMbofholowo,\u201d on September 1, 2023, which quickly garnered one million streams on Apple Music and achieved platinum certification in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2023, Makhadzi was appointed as Spotify\u2019s Equal ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>Her popular single \u201cNumber 1,\u201d featuring Iyanya and Prince Benza, debuted at number 9 on The Official South African Charts and achieved double platinum status within two months.<\/p>\n<p>She also received accolades for Dance Artist of the Year and International Achievement of the Year at the 2024 Basadi in Music Awards.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2024, Makhadzi revealed that her upcoming album will be released on October 7.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>PERSONAL LIFE<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Makhadzi was once in a relationship with Master KG, but she is now dating popular South African businessman Lawrence Mulaudzi.<\/p>\n<p>The two have been spotted together several times, showcasing a deep and loving connection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known as Makhadzi, is a south African singer, born on June 30, 1996.
