It was through the investigations that they found out that some civil servants were suspects in the crime.<\/p>\n<p>The governor promised to investigate and find out the culprits responsible for the pension fraud in the state.<\/p>\n<p>He said, <em>\u201cI am sure you would have heard some reports about some civil servants who were involved in pension fraud.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe have zero tolerance for corruption, once we got convincing information we had to arrest the people involved.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u201cCoincidentally, the opposition went on air to castigate the government.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy question is somebody stole and I arrested him and you went to press to say that I shouldn\u2019t arrest a thief, that means you are a thief yourself.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He added that the State government would begin the arraignment of the suspects before the court of law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abia State Governor Alex Otti has vowed to prosecute State officials engaged in the embezzlement of pension funds.
