Former director-general of the Obi\/Datti presidential campaign, Doyin Okupe, has confirmed that there is an agreement stating that the north will serve eight years and the south will also do the same.<\/p>\n
During an interview on Channels TV\u2019s Politics Today, he stated that the former President Buhari served the country for eight years and President Tinubu would do the same if he wants to.<\/p>\n
He also noted that if the current President tries to fix the economic challenges the country is going through, he could get a second term in 2027.<\/p>\n
Okupe said, \u201cTinubu is doing exceedingly well and he\u2019s going to do much much better. Bola Tinubu needs understanding, not undermining.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIf we do not go through this tough time, the country would have collapsed. I am more than convinced that if this gentleman is given understanding, he would do better. Bola Tinubu will fix this nation. Take that to the bank.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cNigerians will decide so. I am sure. Nigerians are reasonable, sensible people, not demanding too much from their leaders. If Bola Tinubu resolves this fuel crisis and this food crisis between now and that time, you\u2019ll see that people will go on the streets and say it\u2019s Bola or nobody.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBola Tinubu is not a fool. He knows if he does not do this well between now and 2027, he will not have a chance. In this country we have an agreement that the north will do eight years and the south will do eight years.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBuhari did not do well. We were not crazy.
