It also marks the fourth time this month that it is failing.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday around 10:08PM, the grid&#8217;s power generation fell to 2,037.2 megawatts.<\/p>\n<p>Sapele and Rivers IPP reported that there is no power output which contributed to power outage.<\/p>\n<p>Reports have it that some states except Niger and Kwara have experienced total power outage and they had no light throughout. They include: Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Gombe, and Katsina.<\/p>\n<p>The total power outage also affected Sokoto, Zamfara, Bauchi, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Niger, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kogi, and Benue.<\/p>\n<p>The power outage affecting the northern states was triggered by vandalism that damaged Shiroro-Kaduna transmission line, which is the main power supply line to the north.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian National Grid has experienced another collapse making it the ninth time of failure.
