Flavour appears to have thrown shade at KCee, posting a message condemning someone for copying him, without explicitly mentioning KCee’s name, but implying it was directed at him.<\/p>\n
Maria Ude Nwachi a social media user and acclaimed reporter had claimed Flavour is upset with KCee and E-Money, alleging they sabotaged his collaboration with Phyno and Theresa Onuoha by rushing to release a similar song first.<\/p>\n
Another user accused KCee of habitually sampling Flavour’s songs.<\/p>\n
KCee responded to Flavour, stating that he shouldn’t attempt to gatekeep Igbo culture, emphasizing that it belongs to everyone and not exclusively to him. KCee asserted his seniority in the music industry and pointed out that his music honors his heritage, while also highlighting that no artist is tied to a specific genre.<\/p>\n
