Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe of Abia South has condemned President Tinubu’s recent cabinet reshuffle noting that it shows downfall from progress. He described it as ‘renewed shege’.<\/p>\n

This statement was a result of President Tinubu’s reshuffle of Ministers after the dismissal of five others.<\/p>\n

Recall that the former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju-Ken Ohanenye<\/a> was dismissed by President Tinubu and Bianca Ojukwu stepped in as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

Abaribe told Arise TV, \u201cThey don\u2019t refer to it as \u2018Renewed Hope\u2019 but rather as \u2018Renewed Shege.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He condemned President Tinubu’s actions of breaching the Federal character principle, which requires the people to be represented across Nigeria’s regions.<\/p>\n

He stated, \u201cThe president has breached it for the last 18 months.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought these changes would ease the concerns of people from the South East.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
