Former Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Gwarzo, has addressed the public after his dismissal by President Bola Tinubu.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday , Abdullahi Gwarzo was sacked alongside with other ministers which includes; Lola Ade-John (Tourism), Professor Tahir Mamman (Education), Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Youth), and Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye (Women Affairs).<\/p>\n
The Presidency emphasized that the move was part of the eight important actions which aim at bringing innovative reforms in the country.<\/p>\n
The Minister expressed gratitude to the President for giving him the opportunity to serve the country.<\/p>\n
He stated, \u201cAs I reflect on my tenure as minister of state for housing and urban development under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s administration, I\u2019m filled with gratitude. Serving the nation for a year has been an invaluable experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thank President Tinubu for trusting me with this role, allowing me to contribute to the country\u2019s growth and development. My focus was on tackling housing challenges, promoting sustainable urban development, and enhancing citizens\u2019 quality of life.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough my time was brief, I\u2019m proud of our progress and the foundations laid. I congratulate the incoming minister and wish them success. I\u2019m confident they\u2019ll build upon our achievements.<\/p>\n
