The case was originally filed by the kogi State Government through its Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, sought to dispute the legality of the EFCC.<\/p>\n<p>Other states that joined the co-plaintiffs include, Ondo, Edo, Oyo, Ogun, Nasarawa, Kebbi, Katsina, Sokoto, Jigawa, Enugu, Benue, Anambra, Plateau, Cross-River and Niger.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Attorneys General of Anambra, Adamawa and Ebonyi have declared that they will no longer participate in the case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Supreme Court is yet to issue a decision on the case filed by 16 state governments challenging the constitutionality of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other agencies.
