Two bandits trying to collect a ransom of N1.5 million were shot dead by Nigeria military troops. This incident occurred in Mai-Iddo village, located in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n
The bandits had four hostages which includes three women and a child. They were attempting to collect ransom for the abduction when they met their doom.<\/p>\n
Sources have it that the military troops , local vigilantes and the family of one of the victims collaborated together to ensure they captured the bandits.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the community leader stated, \u201cThe arrangements had been concluded with the troops with the man who will be taking the ransom to them and a vigilante. On getting to the particular location, the troops took cover.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018\u2019As two of the bandits came out to pick the ransom, the troops opened fire at them and killed the two of them instantly.”<\/em><\/p>\n The trap was able to capture the bandits who were shot dead and the victims abducted were set free.
