Nigerian comedian Seyi Law shared a heartfelt testimony, using a pair of shoes as an instrument of divine intervention, through which God brought him deliverance.
Seyi Law chimed in on Twitter, responding to a post warning against accepting mirrors as gifts, and added that there are other items people should be wary of receiving, sharing his own experience with a pair of shoes that became a catalyst for divine intervention in his life.
On Twitter, he recalled a spiritual experience from March 2, 2016. During a private vigil, he claimed to have received a revelation from God, warning him that an item in his home was being used to spiritually monitor him. Following the revelation, he discovered the item was a pair of shoes gifted to him by someone. Acting on faith, his wife destroyed the shoes by burning them.
He further shared a prophetic confirmation that validated his earlier experience. After the birth of his daughter, a prophet revealed that God had indeed removed a spiritual monitoring device (the shoes) from his home, ensuring the person responsible would never return. Seyi Law testified that his daughter’s birth was a miracle, as she was targeted in the womb, but God protected her.
“I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.
On the 2nd March 2016, I had a vigil in my room, and as I prayed, God told me there was something in my house that they were using to monitor me and I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me. My wife took it out and burnt it. Before that day, I always doubted people who said God spoke to them.
I was awakened from my sleep around 5 am on the 3rd of March by a voice that told me to write down what I was hearing. I wrote them, and when my eyes cleared and I read what I wrote, I turned and told my wife that she was pregnant. She doubted it until days later when we confirmed.
Fast forward, we had my daughter, and on the day of her dedication, a prophet told me God had removed what they were using to monitor me in my home and that the person would never step into my house again. The person hasn’t stepped foot in my house ever again, no matter my invitations. @OfficialArole was another person God used for me. I am ever grateful for him.
My darling daughter is my evidence of God being our own in my home. My mother’s mini copy. They almost killed her in the womb, but God said no. They mocked her after she was born, but God has given her beauty for their ashes. To God Almighty, I return all the glory. Aye o ni mu wa o. Amen”
