Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, appears to have quashed rumors of marital issues with her husband, King David.
Naijatraffic learnt that, Queen’s comments about her marriage left her critics bewildered. To mark the beginning of December, Queen shared stunning photos on Instagram.
The mother of one conveyed her appreciation for her blessings. She proudly asserted her position as the sole partner of her husband, King David Oyekanmi.
In the comment section, Queen Atang’s husband, King David, affectionately referred to her as the one and only Queen of his empire.
“One and only Queen of my Empire”.
Responding to him, Queen asserted that she was loyal to his government.
“My King, I am loyal to your government, sir”.
In October, rumors spread online that Queen’s 7-month-old marriage was facing trouble.
Naijatraffic learnt that the reality star had unfollowed her husband on Instagram, deleted their photos together, and also removed his name from her Instagram bio.
Apparently responding to the breakup rumors, Queen posted photos of herself living a fulfilling life, revealing her focus on self-improvement, shedding her post-pregnancy weight, and enjoying life as a young woman.
She stated that 2024 is dedicated to building her brand, while 2025 will be a year of relaxation and self-indulgence.
Recall that the BBNaija reality star married David Oyekanmi in March, with a wedding introduction ceremony held in her hometown in Akwa Ibom, attended by colleagues like Nini Singh.
Following the introduction ceremony, Queen Mercy Atang and her partner, David Oyekanmi, officially legalized their union. The couple exchanged vows in a civil wedding held at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones.
