EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
As a child, Rashid Abdul Mugeez developed a deep passion for rap music during his school years.
This enthusiasm eventually inspired him and his cousin to team up and form the dynamic duo R2Bees in 2007.
Throughout the years, Mugeez also explored solo endeavors, collaborating with artists such as Criss Waddle, Mr. Eazi, and DJ Breezy.
In 2017, he gained significant attention for his feature on Fuse ODG’s popular track “Boa Me,” which also included global superstar Ed Sheeran.
The cousins shared a strong bond, having lived together and attended the same schools in Tema.
Their early involvement in school music competitions and successes in radio contests like Kasahare helped them cultivate a loyal fan base in their community.

Behind the scenes, Joseph Addison, known as KillBeatz, produces their tracks, bringing to life their distinctive blend of Twi and Ghanaian Pidgin English lyrics.
