EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Growing up in Effiakuma, a community in Takoradi, he attended Nana Brempong Yaw School for primary education and later studied at Takoradi Technical Institute.
CAREER
In 2008, Kofi Kinaata participated in the Melody FM (Kasahari) rap competition and achieved the first runner-up position.
In 2009, he released his debut single “Obi Ne Ba” and joined the High Grade Family music collective in 2013, founded by Samini.
Kinaata’s talent flourished under their mentorship, leading him to national fame.
He gained further recognition in December 2015 with the hit track “Made in Taadi,” resonating with the Fante community.
Known for his clever rhymes and rap techniques, Kofi Kinaata won the hybrid song of the year Award at the Ghana Gospel Music Awards in February 2020.
His accolades continued with multiple Songwriter of the Year awards at the Ghana Music Awards.
In September 2023, he performed at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Awards.
In May 2024, Kofi Kinaata released his debut EP “Kofi OO Kofi,” showcasing his versatility and creativity.

Coming from a family with a religious background, his father is Pastor Charles King Arthur, and his mother is Auntie Ama.
