EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
He is part of the music group R2bees and the founder of Legacy Life Entertainment, which currently represents the talented artist King Promise.
KillBeatz initially honed his musical abilities by playing instruments for his church community before making the shift from gospel to secular music.
He began his career as a rapper but later concentrated on music production, with guidance from Ghanaian producer Kaywa.
CAREER
Recognizing his exceptional talent in beat-making, studio managers encouraged KillBeatz to join their team, where he quickly outshone the previous producer.
Known for his versatility, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Sarkodie, Efya, R2Bees, Wizkid, Ed Sheeran, and Fuse ODG, spanning genres such as highlife, hiplife, Afrobeats, gospel, and afro-pop.
KillBeatz has received numerous accolades, including the Producer of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2013, 2014, and 2018.
One of his standout projects includes producing “Bibia Be Ye Ye” by Ed Sheeran featuring Fuse ODG, which appeared on Ed Sheeran’s Grammy-winning album “÷ (Divide)” in 2018.
PERSONAL LIFE
In 2020, KillBeatz joyfully announced the birth of his baby daughter on Instagram.
Unfortunately, a post on social media later revealed the passing of his mother on February 17.
