Igbo youths condemns sit-at-home orders

The Igbo youths under the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) have criticized the sit-at-home orders which they stated can cause a negative impact to the South East economy.

COSEYL President General Goodluck Ibem, in a statement condemned the recent orders even though there was an appeal to stop it.

Remember that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, were connected to the commands of sitting at home. But after the appeal for the directives to come to an end, they disassociated themselves from it.

A part of the statement reads; “We appeal to President Bola Tinubu to consider the release of Nnamdi Kanu from DSS custody to put a stop to all forms of economic sabotage which are injurious to the growth and development of the nation”.
