Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has expressed his frustration following a public rebuke from his daughter.
On Instagram account, the comedian and filmmaker posted a video of a FaceTime call with his daughter, where she criticized him for bringing shame to the Okpocha family through his antics.
She pleaded with him to refrain from dancing while promoting his movie, claiming that his actions were embarrassing them.
“Hello, Daddy, I know you’re trying to promote your new movie, but can you stop with the dance. You’re embarrassing the entire Okpocha clan. Just stop; your movie will sell”.
Basketmouth responded to the situation, holding netizens responsible for his family’s embarrassment.
On his Twitter, he expressed that he once believed he was his family’s pride.
“See what you people have done now, making me embarrass my children.
I used to think that I was the pride of my family”.
