EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Originally from Kwara State, Greatman Takit was born in Surelere, Lagos State on March 11, 1992.
He studied at the Government Science Secondary School in Pyakasa, Abuja, and later attended the Federal University of Technology in Minna.
Greatman discovered his singing talent at a young age and officially entered the music scene in 2011 with “Ain’t Nobody.”
CAREER
He followed this up with his second single “IJO” in 2013 and his third single “Farewemi” in 2014.
The release of his first EP, “Wildfire,” in October 2016 marked a significant moment in his career, featuring tracks like “Jungle Up Here” and “Run.”
After being a member of the Nigerian gospel group, “The Gratitude,” Greatman decided to pursue a solo music career in 2020.
In August 2019, he released the single “Sound of Rain” before dropping his second EP, “Energy,” in 2021 with 7 tracks.
Greatman collaborated with Moses Bliss and Prinx Emmanuel on the remix of the popular song “Daddy Wey Dey Pamper,” released in July 2023.
PERSONAL LIFE
Despite maintaining a private personal life, Greatman Takit surprised fans in 2024 with a tweet revealing that he had fallen in love in 2023 and got married in 2024.
However, it is unclear whether he was speaking literally or metaphorically.
