Gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan suffered a tragic loss in 2019 when his wife, Doyin, passed away in an accident, leaving behind their two children, whom he has been raising since her untimely demise.
During a 2021 church worship session, Dunsin Oyekan shared a heartfelt testimony, revealing that his song “I’ll Be Here” was a divine comfort to him after losing his wife, Doyin, in 2019, and ministered the powerful ballad to the congregation.
On the third anniversary of his wife Doyin’s passing in 2022, Dunsin Oyekan took to social media to honor her memory, thanking God for her life and legacy of loving and serving Him, and tenderly bidding her to “keep resting” in peace.
