Donovan Chad Mansoor, better known as Chad, was born on April 16, 1993, in South Africa.
He is a skilled hip-hop producer, lyricist, and rapper. Chad released his first studio album, “The Book of Chad,” on his 23rd birthday in 2016.

CAREER
Chad began his musical journey in his teens by forming a Christian rap group in Pretoria and later relocated to Midrand.
Chad also had a talent for football and
even played for South Africa’s under-14 national team in a Zurich competition.
After collaborating with Cassper Nyovest on his debut single “Hola,” Chad left Family Tree Records due to creative differences.
He then established his label, DCM Entertainment, and signed artists Bonafide and Exe.
Chad has also joined Locnville’s label, ContraBanned.Chad achieved recognition when his track “Wasted,” a collaboration with Locnville, was featured on the US TV series “Lucifer” in Episode 213.
He released his studio album “Dreams Don’t Sleep” on October 23, 2020.Chad’s romantic life has had its share of ups and downs.

His marriage to Kelly Khumalo ended in 2019 after accusations of infidelity and mistreatment.
Currently, Chad is in a relationship with model Carlla Poggenpoel, and they have both tattooed each other’s names on their necks as a symbol of their commitment.
