Biodun Okeowo pens heartfelt note to Lola Idije for defending her over husband snatching allegation

Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo (Omoborty) expressed gratitude towards veteran actress Lola Idije for publicly supporting and defending her against accusations of husband snatching.

According to report’s, by Gistlover, a controversial Instagram blogger, made explosive claims that Biodun Okeowo allegedly entangled herself with and married a man previously involved with Lola Idije’s daughter, sparking accusations of husband snatching.

Biodun Okeowo dismissed the allegations, stating her husband has no connection to Lola Idije’s daughters and only knows Lola through her. She then called on colleague Tosin to clarify the truth, implying Tosin had been subtly attacking her and should set the record straight to put the rumor to rest.

Then Lola Idije publicly debunked the rumors, confirming that Biodun Okeowo did not snatch her son-in-law. Lola emphasized her presence at Biodun’s wedding as proof, and revealed that she was the one who introduced Biodun’s husband to her over the phone, stating that none of her daughters have a personal relationship with him, further solidifying Biodun’s innocence.

Biodun Okeowo took to Instagram to express heartfelt gratitude to Lola Idije for setting the record straight, acknowledging that the internet’s lasting memory can be damaging. Seeking to protect her reputation and legacy, Biodun emphasized the importance of speaking out to clear her name, standing up for herself, her husband, children, family, and loyal fans, and ensuring she’s not unfairly defined by false allegations.
