EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Born on March 4, 1977, in Ibadan, Nigeria, Adesope began his education in his hometown before moving to Loyola College for his secondary education.
He pursued his interest in botany at the University of Ado Ekiti in Ado-Ekiti, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. After graduating in 2002, he relocated to the United Kingdom.
CAREER
Adesope began his media career in 2003 at N-Power FM London, later joining Voice of Africa Radio London. In 2010, he became an online host for Factory 78 TV Network.
By early 2014, he was hosting “Live at Battersea” on Vox Africa TV UK and also presented “Nolly Afrobeats” on Nollywood Movies Sky 329, as well as the Ben Television Sports Show “ABC Sports.”
In 2014, he took on the role of host for the weekly music program “Afrohits on The Beat” at The Beat London 103.6FM, a position he held for a decade.
In September 2020, he ventured into podcasting with the launch of The Afrobeats Podcast, which has featured prominent guests such as Stonebwoy, CKay, Rema, and other notable artists.
