NaijaTraffic is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into compelling visual content that captures attention and drives engagement. You will work closely with our marketing, creative, and content teams to produce high-quality videos for social media, websites, digital advertising, and client campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, with the ability to create content optimized for today’s digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Create engaging short-form videos, reels, TikToks, and promotional content.
  • Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality.
  • Perform color correction, audio balancing, and basic visual effects.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Organize and manage video assets for easy access and future use.
  • Stay up to date with video editing trends, platform best practices, and emerging creative techniques.
  • Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency is an advantage.
